Honda Recalls 350,000 Vehicles Due to Seat Belt Issue

Honda Motor Co Ltd announced a recall of nearly 347,000 Pilot model SUVs this week due to a potential issue with the front seat belts.

The affected vehicles are Pilot model years 2009-2011, which were manufactured in Lincoln, Alabama.

A manufacturing error may cause the driver or front passenger seat belts to become detached from the anchor webbing during an accident, causing an increased risk of injury.

To date, there have been no reports of injuries or deaths in connection with the seat belt defect.

Honda will be notifying Pilot owners by mail beginning in early October.
